減点 deductions
フィギュアスケートの試合では、ルール違反や転倒などで減点になります。
Deduction
Points that are subtracted from the total score. Deductions can be applied for a time violation, an extra/illegal element, a costume/prop violation or a fall. (NBC)減点について
ポイントはトータルスコアから引かれる。タイム違反、余分またはルール違反の要素、衣装や小道具の違反、転倒があると減点と適用される。
かつては、歌入り曲は減点対象だった。
In the past, skaters could be docked points for including lyrics or words in their programs. However, Kurt Browning recalled to the New York Times that the word “tequila” in one of his eponymous programs never saw any deductions. （NBC）
docked : 差し引かれて
eponymous：名の由来となったかつては、スケーターはプログラムに歌詞や言葉が入っているとポイントが差し引かれることがあった。しかしながら、カート・ブラウニングはThe New York Times に呼び起させる。彼の代表するプログラムの一つにtequila の言葉があったが一切減点は見たことが無い。
下の動画では本当に「テキーラ」って言ってる箇所あり。けどセーフのよう。
