要素 element

Water is composed of the elements hydrogen and oxygen. （水は水素と酸素で構成されている）
のように、一つ一つの構成要素のことを、elementといいます。
スケートのelementとは、プログラムを結成する一つ一つの要素、それぞれのジャンプだったり、ステップだったり、スピンだったり。
スコアはTESとPCSで決まる
Briefly: Skaters receive two sets of marks for each program: the technical element score (TES) is based on the difficulty and execution of the technical elements, such as the jumps and spins, and the program component score (PCS) is based on artistry, interpretation and presentation. 無効の要素
invalid（無効の）elementは、ルールに違反して要素を満たさずに得点が0点になってしまうことも。
