前回、ＴＥＳについて投稿しましたが、今度はＰＣＳについてです。
日本語では、演技構成点と呼ばれる部分です。
PCS the program component score
スコアシステム
前回紹介した同じ文章を持ってきました。
Briefly: Skaters receive two sets of marks for each program: the technical element score (TES) is based on the difficulty and execution of the technical elements, such as the jumps and spins, and the program component score (PCS) is based on artistry, interpretation and presentation. The TES and PCS are combined for a skater’s total score. （NBC）
簡潔に：スケーターはそれぞれのスコアのセットを2つ受け取ります。TESは技術要素の難易度や披露、例えばジャンプ、スピンなどに基づくものである。そしてPCSは芸術性、（音楽の）解釈、披露に基づく。TESとPCSはスケーターの総合得点として合わさる。
そして、ＰＣＳについてこまかく書いています。
The Program Components Score (PCS)is based on the judges’ determination of the overall program, and not the individual elements. The judges mark five program components (skating skills, transitions, performance, composition and interpretation) on a scale from 0.25 to 10 (1 = very poor, 5 = average, 10 = outstanding).
PCSは、それぞれのエレメントではなく、全体的なプログラムについてジャッジの決定に基づいている。ジャッジは5つのプログラム構成（スケーティングスキル、つなぎ、演技、振付、音楽の解釈）を0.25から10までの幅で採点する。
The scores are averaged to form the score out of 10 for each component. Then, that total is multiplied by a factor (so that the TES and PCS are weighted more equally in the makeup of the score):
スコアはそれぞれの構成に10点満点のうち合わさったスコアで平均される。そして、その合計はある要素によってかけ算される。（TESとPCSがよりおなじくらいになるようにスコアが合わさるように）
※out of 10 は１０点満点のうち…ですね。
そして、カテゴリによって掛けられるその係数。
Men:
- Short program: 1.0
- Free skate 2.0
Ladies:
- Short program: 0.8
- Free skate: 1.6
Pairs:
- Short program: 0.8
- Free skate: 1.6
女子の方が0.8とか1.6なのはどうしてかな、と思ったらTESがよくて80くらいだからのようですね。男子は120とかになってきてバランスが技術寄りになってしまってきています。
